Essay on Is Education More Expensive or Ignorance
In a wise society, it is not only essential to have a college degree, it is also a necessity. Also, in the world of economy, the college education is no longer considered as a luxury; it is essential for most of the people who are craving for better wages and job security. College education also provides some aspects of life that a non-educated person might not get. These aspects include learning ability, expansive career opportunities, experiences and sentiment. In addition, the government has also improved their higher education plans such as, lowering tuition fees, subsidized funds, and also providing loans to the people who are not able to afford a college education, but to improve the higher education system there are other betterâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦A college degree is a signal for employer that an applicant is assiduous person, have broadened set of knowledge in the area, and ability to finish what, he or she has started. For example, if a company had two applicants for one job of material design post, one is the high school graduate and has done a tremendous amount of work in the design (freelancing) and the other one is the college graduate student who also has done the same amount of work as the previous applicant. But, the college graduate applicant has a better chance to be hired by the company. Because the applicant has explored more fields in design than the freelancer. Thirdly, college degree also helps in developing the experience in college as a learning experience of independence, responsibility and decision making ability. From my personal experiences of living independently, I have now a better understanding between people, I now use to make faster decisions. A neuroimaging research also shows that an average college graduate tends to make faster decisions in their life (such as, financial, relationships, shopping) and also the college graduate lives happier life than the high school graduate.
